Sweet Dreams with Down

A good night’s sleep empowers the body to recover and wake up refreshed for the day to come. According to the 2021 Phillips Global Sleep Survey, 70% of people surveyed reported they have experienced one or more new sleep challenges since the start of the pandemic.

For adults ages 18-60, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends at least seven hours of sleep per night. However, data from a global study shows that no country in the world manages to achieve the recommended amount of sleep on a regular basis.

In terms of quality of sleep, down and feather bedding can help aid in a good night’s sleep. Down and feather pillows are soft and naturally conform to the body. The pillows provide both warmth and comfort by putting less strain on the neck and shoulders. Down comforters help to regulate body temperature by naturally wicking away perspiration to help keep sleepers cool and comfortable during the winter months. Down bedding provides warmth without weight and is ideal for any season.

However, comfortable bedding is not the only thing that can aid in a good night’s sleep. The Sleep Foundation recommends turning off your phone an hour before bed and silencing notifications. The temperature of your bedroom can make a significant difference to your sleep quality. It is recommended to set your thermostat between 60 to 67 degrees Fahrenheit (15.6 to 19.4 degrees Celsius) for the most comfortable sleep.

Whether you are a looking for a comfortable and warm comforter or a pillow that will provide neck support, down bedding is the choice for you!
